Lots to Celebrate!

Brennan had lots of celebrating to do this weekend! Saturday found him at his first wedding celebrating with his Aunt Trish and her family. As always, he and his favorite partner in crime, Sean, had a good time. On Sunday he cheered on his Aunt Jess and Mom in a 5 mile walk for the American Cancer Society. Although he mainly rode on Mommy's back, he did a lot of clapping and hi-fiving for the other walkers. It was a wonderful weekend, but I think we'll be sleeping good tonight!

Brennan's First Bike Ride

Although we had to cut it short because of the ever-changing weather, The Dorvacs' finally got to go on their first family bike ride! We were all looking pretty sharp in our helmets and bike gear! Brennan's thoughts on the matter? "Whoooaaa!"

Mommy's Little Helper

Brennan has become a big help around the house. In addition to trying feed himself and brush his own hair, he has started doing some chores. Today he swept the entire kitchen floor all by himself!

Chow Time!

Anyone who has been around when Brennan is eating knows the boy enjoys his food. For several months he has enjoyed finger feeding himself all sorts of yummy tastes. Recently we started "practicing" eating with utensils...the results have been humorous - and messy!

Brennan received several sweet Valentine's Day gifts, but perhaps his favorite came in the form of a card from Aunt Jess.

Weekend Fun

Brennan and Company had a fun filled February weekend in the snowy city. After a relaxing day at home with Daddy, we all went to Auntie April's and Uncle Vince's for Mardi Gras. Brennan couldn't get enough of Mommy's vegetarian jambalaya with hot sauce - but he wasn't allowed any Hurricanes! Sunday found us taking a walk and checking out the snow. B wasn't a huge fan but did seem to enjoy the fresh air. On Monday we visited one of our favorite winter haunts, the Garfield Park Conservatory, where Brennan was able to crawl around in the kids section, explore all sorts of fun plants and watch the big fish swim around. If only all weekends could be so lovely!
